Age Compliance is Paramount
In strict adherence to all Australian State and Territory alcohol laws, every delivery requires an Adult Signature and ID Check (18+) upon receipt. Our couriers cannot, under any circumstances, leave a package unattended or with a person under the legal drinking age. This policy is rigidly enforced to uphold our licensing obligations.
(Shipping cost is €5.99 per order, with free shipping on orders over €35. Order processing time is 1-3 business days. Estimated delivery time is 3-5 business days post-dispatch.)
The Order Lifecycle: From Click to Sip
Order Processing (1-3 Days): Your order is meticulously processed, inventory confirmed, and prepared for dispatch within one to three business days. High-volume periods may see us utilize the full three days, but quality control remains a constant focus.
Dispatch and Tracking: Once processed, a tracking number is generated and emailed to you. The package is handed over to our vetted courier partner.
Transit (3-5 Days): The 3-5 business days is the standard transit estimate. Please use your tracking link for real-time updates. Delivery times to specific states, such as a movement from a major eastern state to Western Australia or Northern Territory, may require an extra logistics allowance.
Final Mile Delivery: The courier will attempt delivery and require the ASR.
Shipping Investment: Why the Charge?
The €5.99 shipping fee is a contribution towards the significant cost of specialty alcohol packaging and the premium courier service required for age-verified, fragile goods. The free shipping for orders over €35 is a value-added service, subsidising the delivery cost for higher-value orders.
Packaging Integrity
We use custom-fit inserts and thick, heavy-duty cartons that comply with major carrier requirements for shipping alcohol. We specifically avoid single-wall or flimsy packaging, understanding that the weight and fragility of alcohol require industrial-grade protection against vertical and horizontal impact.
Delivery Policy on Restricted Zones
My Store strictly complies with all local government regulations concerning alcohol sales and delivery. We cannot ship to any designated alcohol-restricted or “Dry Community” areas within Australia. If an order is inadvertently placed to such a zone, the order will be cancelled, and a full refund issued. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm their local delivery restrictions prior to purchase.
Managing Failed Deliveries and Returns
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful because no adult is available to sign, a card will be left detailing collection or re-delivery options. If the package is not successfully delivered or collected within the carrier’s stipulated holding time (typically 7-10 days), it will be returned to our facility. In this scenario, the customer will be responsible for the full actual cost of the return freight plus the cost of any subsequent re-shipment attempt.
